Storage used by the service
VS Market Cap uses only first-party preferences and local storage for user-requested functions. The inventory below gets its names from the same constants used by the code. We use no advertising cookies, third-party analytics cookies or tracking pixels.
Preferences and holdings
Language and currency are saved when you choose them. Cookies are sent to this site; localStorage stays in the browser. Holdings are stored per asset and omitted from sharing by default. The theme remembers light, dark or system mode. The legacy currency name is read only if already present and is not created by the current version.
Managing storage
You can change preferences in the selector, reset holdings and delete or block cookies and storage through your browser. Some preferences will no longer be remembered if storage is blocked. No consent banner is added because these mechanisms serve only expressly requested functions, with no additional tracking.
