Controller and scope

FOTO DENIA SL, identified above, is the controller for processing associated with VS Market Cap. Contact admin@vsmarketcap.com. Registration is not required, and we do not ask for exchange account details, private keys or identity documents to use the calculators.

Data and purposes

We process requests needed to serve pages, searches, scenarios and images. Infrastructure may process IP addresses, timestamps, browser information, paths, URL parameters and technical error or security data in server or CDN logs. These data help deliver, maintain and protect the service.

If you email us, we process your email address and the content you provide to respond and handle your request. Do not send private keys, credentials or unnecessary financial information.

Legal bases

Providing the service expressly requested and handling requests rely, where applicable, on performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Maintenance, security and responding to other enquiries rely on the legitimate interest in operating a secure service (6(1)(f)), balanced against your rights. Legally required retention relies on legal obligations (6(1)(c)). Where processing relies on consent (6(1)(a)), you may withdraw it without affecting prior processing.

Local holdings and preferences

Entered amounts are saved by default in browser localStorage, per asset, and calculated without creating a personal portfolio in our database. First-party cookies remember your chosen language and currency; the theme is remembered locally. You can reset holdings and preferences or clear site storage. There is no account identifier.

Sharing is an explicit choice

Shared links and images omit holdings by default. If you select the option to include them, the chosen amount becomes part of the shared state and may appear in the URL and image. Recipients can save and forward it. The URL may pass through servers, CDNs, technical logs and platforms you choose; we do not guarantee that these logs omit its parameters.

Images containing holdings are returned with private, no-store. This does not remove copies already downloaded or shared or prevent technical processing of the request. You can deselect the option to share future scenarios without holdings; we cannot erase third-party copies.

Providers, recipients and transfers

Hostinger provides hosting; Supabase provides PostgreSQL infrastructure storing market data; CoinMarketCap supplies market data on the server. We do not send local holdings to CoinMarketCap to calculate scenarios. Providers may process technical data needed for their services. Information may also reach recipients you choose when sharing and authorities where required by law.

Available coin logos load directly from third-party servers. These receive the IP address and technical browser request data. Images use no-referrer to avoid sending the page URL; we do not include holdings in these requests.

Locations and possible processing outside the European Economic Area depend on each provider’s configuration and contracts. Any applicable international transfer must rely on a valid GDPR mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses with the necessary safeguards. Retention and absence of tracking

Preference cookies last no longer than the period stated in Cookies from the last selection. Local holdings and theme have no automatic expiry and remain until deleted or cleared by the browser. Emails and logs are retained for as long as needed for their purpose, security, handling requests and legal obligations or claims; technical retention also depends on provider policies.

We currently use no advertising tracking, third-party analytics, behavioural profiling or automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Internal interface events are not sent to an external analytics service.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability where applicable, and withdraw consent where it is the applicable basis, by emailing admin@vsmarketcap.com. We may request the minimum information needed to verify your identity. Exclusively local storage is also managed through your browser; we cannot identify or erase it remotely.

You may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or another competent supervisory authority. Providing optional data is voluntary; without necessary technical data we cannot respond to the relevant request.
